Sleep is the time your body heals from injuries, consolidates memories and detoxifies your brain from the rigors of the day. If your sleep is interrupted, you go into sleep debt which dramatically alters your body’s ability to heal itself and maintain homeostasis. In order to optimize your health, it is essential that you allow your body to achieve the proper amount of QUALITY sleep. In this lecture, Dr. Gereau, Blum Center’s Integrative ENT and Dr. Brad Gilden, Functional Manual Physical Therapist at Elite Health Services, will take you through an education on why your body needs sleep. We will help you to understand if you’re getting enough of the right type of sleep, and how to improve your sleep. Real demonstrations will be used so you can leave this lecture with practical information of how to address your sleep issues right away. Dr. Gilden will also share 7 strategies to improve your sleep immediately. Although this is a free talk, please register to reserve your seat.
