In response to emails and calls from people all over the world, we are pleased to offer one-on-one personal Health Education appointments that are fully conducted by phone or video, so that no matter where you live, you have access to our Faculty of clinicians who are all leaders in their fields and world renowned for their expertise. If you have a health concern or medical diagnosis and want to know more about treatment options in the fields of Functional and Integrative Medicine, our specialists have a wealth of information to share with you.
Your Education Appointment
Unlike with a live clinical visit, your participation in an online or telephone educational health consultation will not result in either (i) the formation of a doctor-patient relationship between you and the healthcare provider with whom you speak or (ii) a diagnosis or the creation of a treatment plan. We can provide you with a host of educational information and expertise that you can share with your own doctor back home. It is a terrific value and provides accessibility to our specialists who are hard to find!
You will receive a personalized Health Education Report which will teach you:
- First, the Functional and Integrative Medicine understanding of the root cause(s) of your health condition. For example, if you have an autoimmune disease, IBS, hormone imbalance, chronic sinusitis, a neurological issue, cancer, or really any illness or symptom, our Faculty will share with you a clear check list of the evidence-based root causes of these conditions from a Functional and Integrative medicine perspective.
- Next, you will learn about how to treat each of these root causes. For example, if one of the root causes is an imbalance in your gut microbiome, in your Health Education Report, our Faculty will share information with you about the Functional Medicine 5 R program for healing the gut, including food plans, resources and websites for you to find and purchase the supplements you need, all great information for you to share with your medical team back home, to integrate into your treatment program.
