Amruta Inamdar, DPT, is a dedicated Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in Women’s Health/Pelvic Health Rehabilitation. With 16 years of clinical experience and a successful track record of treating over 5,000 patients ( Men and Women), she joins the Blum Center for Health bringing a wealth of expertise. 

Amruta has completed her Masters from Biomechanics and Exercise Science from University of Florida and Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions ( Harvard Medical School). 

Passionate about addressing women’s health issues, Amruta focuses on eliminating pelvic pain and other related conditions. Having personally overcome the challenges of two difficult C-section recoveries, she found relief and full recovery through pelvic floor Physical Therapy. This personal journey solidified her belief that women can achieve a pain-free life and regain function following childbirth or any pelvic pain diagnosis.

Amruta Inamdar’s approach is holistic, aiming for complete pain resolution through tailored treatment strategies. She has undergone training with industry leaders in Pelvic Pain and rehabilitation, both in the United States and India. As a trusted practitioner in the New York and Connecticut areas, she integrates Eastern and Western knowledge to effectively address a variety of postpartum and post-surgical  pelvic floor complications. Amruta specializes in various integrative manual therapies  like Craniosacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulations, advanced myofascial techniques like Graston and Cupping. She specializes in all types of post surgical scar rehabilitation which helps facilitate healing faster and regaining of pain free function rapidly   Her patients benefit from her excellent guidance and personalized rehabilitation protocols, tailored to each unique clinical scenario.

Amruta lives in Westchester County with her husband and two adorable daughters. She is the go-to expert for all questions related to painful sex, incontinence and prolapse  and postpartum complications along with chronic hip back and neck pains.
